The Siemens Biograph 64 is a hybrid PET/CT system boasting very short acquisition times, offering detailed and motion-free images of the heart. The Siemens Biograph 64 is ideal for cardiovascular applications. The combination of functional and structural data of image generation into one system offers comprehensive cardiological acquisitions in a single process during routine clinical exams. The Siemens Biograph 64 includes special PET detectors based on lutetium oxyorthosilicate (LSO) and the new CT technologies (UEC detectors, Straton X-ray tube, z-Sharp technology, etc.) developed by Siemens allow for much shorter acquisition times. The Siemens Biograph 64 features the high-speed detector electronics Pico3D and HI-REZ technology, providing the additional anatomic detail that offers precision diagnostic capabilities.
